PMA 2024 – ANNOUNCEMENT OF FUTURE PLANS:

THE CHARTERED SURVEYORS’ COMPANY / PMA and EG ( Estates Gazette ) TO JOIN FORCES for NEW CATEGORY at EG AWARDS.

The Chartered Surveyors’ Company and EG, long standing media partners of the Property Marketing Awards ( PMA), are thrilled to be joining forces at the 2024 EG Awards.

Having recently marked its 30th year, the PMA is set to merge with the EG Awards, also celebrating a milestone year with its 20th anniversary in 2024, to introduce a new category for marketing “CAMPAIGN of the YEAR”.

The Chartered Surveyors’ Company, in association with PMA, proudly takes on the role of EG’s partner for this category. The Master of the Company will have the honour of presenting the award to the deserving winner during the awards ceremony at Old Billingsgate, London EC3, on Thursday November 21 2024.

Misa Von Tunzelman, Jury Chair of the PMA, will bring her wealth of expertise to EG’s distinguished panel of judges for the 2024 Awards.

Samantha McClary, editor at EG, expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating:

“Our long-standing partnership with the PMA has paved the way for this collaboration, and we’re delighted to welcome them to the EG Awards. Continuing our valued relationship, we eagerly anticipate the fresh energy and innovative entries this new category will bring. As we plan an extensive 20th anniversary celebration for the awards ceremony, we look forward to seeing new faces join us for this memorable milestone”

THE CHARTERED SURVEYORS’ COMPANY.

The Chartered Surveyors’ Company is a City of London Livery Company which was established in 1977.
One of the main purposes of the Company is “to contribute to British national life by supporting the property profession and , through its wider charitable activities, to be a force for good in advancing education and helping young people to achieve their potential”.
A good example of this is the Bursary programme. In 2020, the Company, with Pathways to Property, launched a new bursary  programme aiming to increase diversity and inclusion within the property industry by enabling students from less advantaged backgrounds to pursue a career in the built environment.
The programme, which has raised  in excess of £900,000, has supported 31 students at 11 UK universities  with a further 10 students anticipated in the 2024/25 academic year.

THE PROPERTY MARKETING AWARDS (PMA).

The Property Marketing Awards, one of the first property awards, have been organised by The Chartered Surveyors’ Company for 30 years as a not-for-profit event with the purpose of “celebrating excellence in property marketing”. The net proceeds from these events have been donated to property charities such as LandAid, and latterly to the Company’s Charitable Trust to support its education and bursary programmes.

I would like to thank all those who have been part of the wonderful PMA journey over the years, and encourage you to enter and support the 2024 EG Awards on 21 November. The closing date for entries for these awards is Friday 26 April.
